Artifact: Burdenko Daily report
Element: 2.1 Demonstrate Personnel competence in motor skill performance for a variety of physical activities and movement patterns.
Date: Spring 2009
Throughout Burdenko which is a water and land base fitness class, I as a student had the ability to learn over a 100 exercises and movements that took place on land and in water. This class helped me to demonstrate standard 2, element 2.1 because it gave me the competency to understand movements and to learn motor skills in which I never knew were possible. Having this class under my belt will help me in future with teaching because it is a unique class in which students will learn something new and unusual to keep their bodies in shape and at the same time be able to practice the land exercises in the water in which water is a new environment for some.
